Cold as Winter

I don't think you'll ever leave my soul. I don't think you realize it, but you've been one of my greatest teachers. With you I realized for the first time that I could love and deeply care for another. I'm watching this documentary on Biggie and all I can think of is you. And I'm wondering, does anything remind you of me? Do you think back to any moments we've shared the way I do? I know I was never your first choice, but I do hope there's always a place for me in your heart for as long as it beats.
