If I paint the picture, it'll come to life.

I'm grabbing the paint brush in search of the right colors.
The ones that will fix this picture.
The ones that'll get us back to where we were before THIS.
I don't know what those colors are,
But they should create the happiness that once was.
I can see you holding me,
And us hand in hand.
As fucked up as you think we are
In this color of paint I don't see that at all.
I see the color of two souls meant to bring out the best in each other.
I see shades of red for the moments of warmth.
And in those moments I see the times we laugh together,
The times in which we have flashbacks together,
Times where we get so close to falling of the edge.
Only for us to catch each other before the fall.
I'm asking that you show me the color of patience,
Because without it
I can never complete this picture.
